Will a copy of harvest moon cute bought from the US work on all ds's?

I can't find it anywhere in the uk and I'm thinking of ordering it from a seller on the american amazon site (who a lot of my friends in the uk has ordered from) as the british amazon site never has it. Will that copy work on my uk bought dsi or does it work universally on all ds's?
